Michael DeNuccio has practiced law since graduating from St. Mary's University School of Law in 2008.  After graduation, he served as a real estate entitlement attorney, working with property owners to secure the necessary government and community support for their developments.  With the down economy and all but complete stoppage in development, Michael opened his own law firm helping clients with their civil, real estate and criminal matters.

In addition to practicing law, Mike serves as the Treasurer of the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association (SAYLA) and the San Antonio Young Lawyers Foundation (SAYLF).  In 2010, he co-chaired the largest golf tournament in SAYLA's history, with over 130 golfers, and raising $15,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Texas and SAYLF.

While in law school, Mike was very active, serving as the Vice President of the Student Bar Association, Historian of the International Legal Fraternity of Phi Delta Phi, and Executive Lieutenant Governor of the American Bar Association Law Student Division's 13th Circuit.

He won many awards in law school as well, including Best Brief during his first year.  During his second year, he served as an oralist (speaker) and brief writer for the External Advocacy Program's Moot Court team, earning third place at the Mack Kidd Administrative Law competition. During his third year, he won the Moot Court competition and was named Best Speaker.
