Munich

On a lazy Tuesday afternoon, instead of doing homework, a group of about 30 of us went to Munich to practice our German.  :)  Before joining the group at the world-famous (ugh!) Hofbrauhaus, seven of us went exploring on bike.  We first hit the park where people enjoy the summer heat and then the river where they escape from the same heat.

Story is that some guys from California missed surfing when they lived in Germany, so they placed some boards in the river to create a backwash wave on which they could surf.  The guys we saw were pretty good at it too.
