Sounio, Greece
  August 13

Steve and Mike drove via scooter to the Temple of Poseidon in Sounio - the southern end of the mainland south of Athens.  The ride was beautiful and similar to the Pacific Coast Highway in California or the Amalfi Coast in Italy, but not as tight turns as the Amalfi.  The 250cc scooters were perfect vehicles to get there.  Just enough power to get through the traffic safely and not too big to be awkward.

Once we get the pictures from our cameras onto the laptops, well post for all to enjoy.  We both agreed, though, that a picture on a website will not do the scenery justice.  You just have to go there to get the real feel for the Hellenic coast.
